The Adult Reentry Center (ARC) at Cal State Fullerton is dedicated to issues of the Adult Learner and the successful completion of their educational goals. The center’s mission is to provide support services to prospective and current students who have multiple responsibilities outside the role of student. The center serves as a resource to the Cal State Fullerton community in providing an educational environment for adult learners.
An adult reentry student is at least 30 years of age and has made the decision to reenter the academic arena. Returning to school after a considerable amount of time is an important and significant issue for the adult learner. Once they become students, they may experience concerns about academic skills and performance. The ARC is aware of the unique needs of these reentry students and functions to offer support and services to foster and enhance these students’ growth and success.
