Allied Health Professions Overview
The term Allied Health is used to identify a variety of health professions, encompassing as many as 200 health careers. There are 5 million allied health care providers in the U.S., who work in more than 80 different professions and represent approximately 60% of all health care providers. Master of Science in Anesthesia
AAs, also referred to as anesthetists, work cooperatively under the direction of an anesthesiologist to implement the anesthesia care plan. AAs are trained in a professional graduate level program and earn a Master of Science degree. For more information please click here.
