Intent to Apply

The 2024-2025 Intent to Apply Application cycle is closed! For information about your application status, email itoa@fullerton.edu.

Are you a CSUF student who is applying to a health profession?  If yes, our Intent to Apply service is can help you along the way!

Intent to Apply is structured to help guide students during their application process through the provision of:

  • A committee letter of recommendation (for CSUF undergraduate students and Post-Baccalauraeate Pre-Health Certificate students who meet requirements).  Please make an appointment to determine whether you are eligible.
  • If the student is not eligible for a committee letter, a letter packet can be uploaded on their behalf as well.  Please see the required documents section for all applications.
  • Advising from the Health Professions Advising Office as needed, for all aspects of the application process

A committee letter is a letter of recommendation on behalf of the CSUF Health Professions Committee, which consist of faculty who teach many students with a pre-health interest.  Students are encouraged to obtain a committee letter, as it is another letter of recommendation that is meant to emphasize your qualifications as an applicant.

Failure to submit all required documents on time will result in the loss of a committee letter. If you have applied to a previous cycle, please download the Re-applicant form. If you would like to collect letters complete our Letter Collections Only, please email all documents to ITOA@FULLERTON.EDU.
