Our Third Annual Drag Show

We are just a few hours away from a fabulous night with some lovely guests! I want to introduce you all to this year's performers: Cal State Fullerton Alumna Alessandra Divine, Miss Orange County Mahaliah Nakita, Alexa Angel, Xotica Erotica, Nikki Licious and our very own Flora Fauntay.
Alessandra Divine explained that she gets her name by mixing “the Victoria’s Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio and the legendary drag queen, Divine.”
Mahaliah Nakita “pays homage to [her] Filipino roots using the phrase ‘Mahal Kita’ which means ‘I Love You’ in English”. As the current Miss Orange County Pride Queen, Mahaliah hopes to bring awareness of the LGBTQ community and stand up against acts of injustice across cultural boundaries.
If that does not inpire you, Xotica Erotica will make you get up with her on-stage action, high jumps, death drops and all in high heels!
Nikki Licious has been doing drag for about 6 years and “[enjoys] entertaining people the most. The best part is after the show when people take the time to personally thank us and tell us how they appreciate what we do.”
Alexa Angel describes drag as, “a fun way to express yourself [artistically] and to see how others’ art comes to life.”
Flora Fauntay, current Cal State Fullerton student and one of our Office Assistant Leads, explains her “first time in full-on drag was at Cal State Fullerton’s second Drag Show just this last April.”
From the name all the way down to the shoes, Drag is a whole experience – showered in glamour, history and lots of personality. Drag is a celebration of art, freedom and expression. We can only hope that these Queens know how much we appreciate them!
Find your inner diva and come dressed in Drag for an opportunity to Lip Sync for the Crown!
All of our performers are ready to give us their all tonight at 6:30 pm in the Student Housing Piazza. Whether you have never heard of Drag or you just finished binge-watching the latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, you are sure to enjoy this year’s Drag Show!
