A Message from President Milton A. Gordon

Dear Colleague:

California State University, Fullerton's position as a major regional institution of higher education in the state and as an institution of increasing national and international visibility must be reflected in a strong and consistent identity that our various constituencies will clearly recognize.

We contribute to the visual image projected to the public about Cal State Fullerton each time we send a letter, hand out a business card, or give a brochure to a prospective student. A strong identity program projects an image of excellence and stability. It will also ensure consistency among all forms of visual communication, producing an immediately identifiable visual identity for the university, its schools, programs and offices.

I am pleased to share with you this policy guide describing the visual identity program for Cal State Fullerton. This website will assist in proper use of the university logo and guide the superior and consistent application of the university's visual identity standards. We will continue to use our university seal for designated formal and official applications.

To ensure the success of this identification and maintain the quality and consistency of the university's visual identity, each user must apply the design guidelines as established. Thank you for your cooperation in this important step forward in our university's image program.
