RESPECT is a three-day/two-night retreat experience that will provide students with opportunities for
cross-cultural communication skill training and increased life experiences between international and U.S. students.
This program is designed to enhance participants' awareness of diversity in a safe environment and to create a
sense of shared community by decreasing negative personal beliefs among students.
RESPECT will ultimately seek to promote and increase advocacy, peace, cultural understanding and
respect amongst participants so that they may learn to live with global understanding.

Students selected to attend this unique leadership training experience will benefit in many ways such as:
- Raising multicultural awareness and building a sense of community
- Experiencing a unique opportunity for individual and group growth
- Learning about the impact participants can make in the CSUF community and in their personal lives

- Meeting others and having fun during Winter Intersession
- Going on a trip to the mountains that includes 2 nights' stay, meals, and various activities
