Health Insurance
You must purchase health insurance before you can register for classes.
Health insurance is required because medical care is very expensive in
the United States. The California State University (CSU) system requires that
every international student show proof of health insurance that meets
CSU requirements. The health insurance plan does not include dental and
vision care. Optional dental and vision insurance coverage are available
through the Information desk at the Titan Student Union.
(Only F-1 students are eligible
to petition for alternate health insurance.)
Deadline
for submitting this petition (applies to newly admitted F-1 students
only):
Fall term: August 15
Spring term: January 15
