This year's theme is "A Global Community: Golden Opportunities". Activities throughout the week will celebrate not only 50 years of international academic accomplishments, but also our global community of faculty, staff, visiting international research scholars, as well as international and exchange students.
Events which took place throughout the week included the following:
- Meet & Greet Members of the Consular Corps: Tea Reception
- Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars' Fall induction ceremony and panel discussion of an international topic followed by a reception
- College of Humanities & Social Sciences' "Travelogue" Brown Bag Lunch Series
- International Friendship Council's "Dinner with American Hosts"
- International "Cook-out" in the campus Residence Halls
- Office of Public Affairs and Government Relations' "Global Diplomacy Summit" with keynote by the Austrian Ambassador to Belgium as well as to NATO followed by a reception
