Parking policies
Our policies apply as on the Fullerton campus. For more information, go to the CSUF parking and transportation site. The California Vehicle Code is enforced at all times.
Parking permit requirements are enforced Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The cost of a parking permit at the Irvine Campus is $220.00. The cost of a daily
parking permit is $8.00. Motorcyle decals are $75.00.
Motorcycles should be parked in designated motorcycle parking in the lot on the Barranca side.
Please be aware that motorcycles parked in automobile parking spaces will be ticketed.No decals are needed for bicycles.
Additionally, there are visitor parking stalls and loading spaces available in which you can park for up to 30 minutes at no charge.
For information on purchasing parking permits online, we encourage you to view the 4 minute web tutorial on how to purchase a parking permit through the campus portal. Please have the Licence plate or VIN Number and the year, make, model, and color of the vehicle before making the purchase.
Parking regulations will be strictly enforced at CSUF Irvine Campus.
IVC students and faculty without a valid IVC/Saddleback decal should plan to pay for an $8 CSUF Daily Permit and use the CSUF designated parking lots.
Other Vehicles
The use of skateboards, roller skates, inline skates, and scooters is prohibited upon the grounds or in the buildings of the Irvine campus except for authorized instructional purposes. Click here for more information.
A bicycle rack is available for those who choose to cycle to the CSUF Irvine Campus. There is no parking decal or fee for bicycles. Motorcycle parking = $75 decal.
