Message from the Dean:

Welcome to Fall Semester 2009 – our 20th Anniversary as a branch campus!

Cal State Fullerton, Irvine Campus (IRVC) is here to provide you with the programs you need to complete your BA/BS degree, your Education credential, or a Graduate Degree. We are a student centered campus where collaboration is encouraged and services are easy to find!

In these challenging economic times, higher education plays an important role in preparing adults for new careers as well as providing professional development for those who have careers. From these challenges come great opportunities for those who meet them. Twenty years ago we were located on the Saddleback College Campus in Mission Viejo. We are now located on the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station in the planned Orange County Great Park. We are adjacent to the Village of Woodbury and the Woodbury Town Center in Irvine off Sand Canyon Avenue.

Our hard working faculty and professional staff will provide you with the course work you need, the research skills and internship opportunities you desire and the advisement and counseling you value. We offer a FEMBA (Fully Employed MBA) Program as well as housing the Community Learning and Literacy Center from the College of Education. Our library is our link to the books, databases, periodicals and other valuable resources in the Pollak Library in Fullerton.

Our new website has been created with your needs in mind. Take some time to browse the pages for the person or the information you need. We have many activities and special events planned this year. Join us on Facebook at Cal State Fullerton-Irvine Campus for the latest news and updates.

Come join our Business Roundtable! Our first meeting of the year will be held on Friday, September 11. Find out about the opportunities for collaboration within the region and the county for large and small businesses with our campus. As we reach out to our community, our CSUF alumni and those who understand their stake in the education and experiences of our students, we welcome your involvement in our campus! I urge you to call me as we accelerate our efforts to establish a permanent campus. Whether you hope to volunteer, lend your expertise, make a donation, or share your experience, we welcome your involvement at IRVC!
