Telephone Services Presents at EADS Conference (April 2003)

April 27th - 30th, 2003 was the annual conference of the EADS Telecom User Group (formerly known as Intecom, Inc.). This year the conference was held in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, with IT's Jeni Cansler serving as Director of Programs.

For a general session segment, Bob Zepeda and Jeni Cansler did a presentation on "The beta installation of the M6501 Telephone Switch at CSUF's El Toro Campus". Aka" what we did last summer.' The M6501 has been widely installed in Europe, but this was the first system installation within the United States. This product is an expansion of offerings by EADS to move into the small-medium switch telephony market niche. CSUF currently has an InteCom switch installed which provides telecommunications services to our campus.

With thousands of 6501 systems in 80 countries EADS Telecom is currently the fourth largest player in the telephony market and number one in VoIP implementations in Europe.
