What
is Telesoft?
Telesoft (also referred to as Telmaster
or Teleweb) is an online billing system used to keep track
of telecommunications-related expenses. Since this system
connects directly to Business & Financial Affairs, Telephone
Services is able to input charges into Telesoft and transmit
them to FRS.
Are paper copies
of the bills available?
If you are a Telesoft user, you are able
to print out a variety of reports from the report portal.
Each of the reports arranges the information in a different
way, but the grand monthly total for the cost center is the
same on each report.
How
do I get authorized to view my department's telephone bill?
Your department chair or director should
send an email to Cathy Arthur at carthur@fullerton.edu.
The text of the email should indicate which cost centers/account
numbers that you need access to. You will receive an email
with instructions and your login information once your account
is set up.
How many months
are kept on the system?
A fiscal year's (July - June) telephone
billing information is kept on the system before it is archived.
Usually the previous fiscal year is archived in August, but
an email is sent to all Telesoft users letting them know what
day a fiscal year's information will be archived.
How can I
access information that has been archived?
Contact Cathy
Arthur at x2492. Depending on what it is that you need
to access, there may be a charge involved.
Who do
I contact about billing questions or corrections?

Arthur at x2492. Please keep in mind that any charge-related
corrections must be reported within 3 months in order for
any adjustments to be applied.
What reports
do I need to save?
There are two reports that you need to
save for each cost center: the User Call Summary with layout
User Call Summary and the Extension Detail Report (.pdf document).
You do not need to print these reports; you may save them
onto your hard drive, a writable CD, or Zip disk (whichever
works best for you).

forgot my Telesoft login/password.

Is training
available?
Yes. A monthly training class is held which
covers the basics of the system including saving reports and
locating specific information. Check the IT
training schedule or the ETD
calendar for current training dates.
