Portal

Faculty, staff, students and alumni have access to campus online resources through the CSUF portal system. Access to systems from within the portal will vary, depending on user roles. Students who leave the university will retain access to the portal for nine months.

Faculty/Staff Portal

The Faculty/Staff Portal provides secure access to online information that is personalized for each user. The portal has the appearance of an ordinary web page with the addition of two basic features: one, customizable tabs for easy navigation and two, a username and password for authentication. After logging in, you can customize the appearance of the portal to reflect your particular needs. To login, go to http://my.fullerton.edu and click “Login”.

Here are some of the features that are currently available through the Faculty/Staff Portal:

  • My CSUF - the portal “home page” which allows you to add your own notes, reminders, web links, etc. and view personalized news and information.
  • Email - access to Microsoft Outlook
  • Library - access to personal circulation records, interlibrary loan form, with the ability to put materials on reserve and schedule library instruction.
  • Profile - controls many things, including which tabs are displayed, passwords for on- and off-campus accounts, and the order in which the tabs appear at the top of the portal window.
  • Community - access to view committee members and meeting minutes or other pertinent files, with administrative access (for those designated as such) that includes ability to add members and post files.
  • Training - access to information on campus training and record of training you’ve completed.
  • Finance - access to web-pay transactions and transaction history, with links to personal financial institution sites.
  • Services - access to Help Desk information and ticket/work order status, IT Request Form, and links to other services such as parking.
  • TitanCard - access to purchase TitanTender, view a record of your recent transactions (up to 4 months), report your card as lost or stolen, and more.
  • Classes - access to class lists, student distribution list, the bookstore, a message-posting feature targeting selected students, and an information-posting feature for the Class Schedule that displays notes and/or a syllabus for a particular class. Messages to students are posted to their portal and NOT to their email accounts. Please encourage students to check their portal regularly for important personal messages related to their classes, as well as from Financial Aid and other student services, and also for announcements from their departments, colleges and the university.
  • Pcard and Aquire X – (for users with PCard or AcquireX accounts) access to Pcard and AquireX systems.
  • Documents – a document management interface available only to designated system users.
Attendance – access to your leave balance.
  • Other tabs include WebCam, Yahoo/AOL/MSN/Hotmail, Blackboard.

For help and instructional information on using the Portal, please click on the "Help" button after logging in.

Student Portal
For students, the portal gives access to new features like a searchable internships database (available only through the portal), news postings from their department or college, an unofficial transcript display, online web payment of tuition, tax information, financial statements and more. BlackBoard accounts are automatically created through and exclusively accessed via the portal. The Calendar automatically populates class schedules, including locations.

Alumni Portal
The Alumni Portal is a centralized location where the CSUF alumni community can access e-mail, the online Alumni Directory, email forwarding, campus news, and other alumni-centric campus applications/resources. Alumni will be able to get the latest on alumni news and events while staying in touch with the university. With the online Alumni Directory, grads can see what former classmates are doing and share their own information and photos; users can share as much, or as little, information about themselves as they like, and can change their online profile at any time. Tab buttons link users to the web pages of the Alumni Association, Athletics, the Library, and the department from which they graduated. Quicklinks connect alumni to other sites such as Student Loan Consolidation, Transcript Requests and Career Planning and information about taking classes.
