Restarting Campus Workstations

 

IT updates workstations located in the AD and ACAD domains nightly between 12:00 Midnight and 4 a.m.. This includes all Rollout workstations and those administered by IT.

• HOW DO I RESTART on WINDOWS XP?
• HOW DO I RESTART ON APPLE OSX?
• HOW DO I RESTART ON WINDOWS 2000?
• HOW DO I RESTART ON APPLE OS 9.X?

HOW DO I RESTART on WINDOWS XP?

1. Select the START button
2. Select SHUT DOWN.



3. This will open a new window. In this window use the drop down arrow (circled in green) to locate RESTART.
4. Select RESTART (circled in red).

HOW DO I RESTART ON APPLE OSX?

1. From the main desktop, click on the APPLE menu and select RESTART

HOW DO I RESTART ON WINDOWS 2000?

1. Select the START button
2. Select SHUT DOWN.



3. This will open a new window. In this window use the drop down arrow (circled in green) to locate RESTART.
4. Select RESTART (circled in red).

• From the main desktop, click on the Special menu and select RESTART
