TitanCard Program Services

Printing and Copying Options
The TitanCard offers a cash free way to charge for printing or copying. Now students, faculty and staff won’t have to carry cash and you won’t have to handle it. Tracking supplies and usage of equipment will be an ease with custom reports generated to your needs.

Network Printing
You can set up your lab or department to charge for printing or to track printing usage by using CSPrint software. Reports on usage can be generated for departmental purposes such as budgeting, high/low printing times, and managing supplies.

Copier Controllers
Copy controllers allow you to charge for copies or limit the amount of copies made. You will not need to remember extra codes; just use a TitanCard or departmental card that TitanCard will issue the department. Custom reports are also available.

Tracking Options
Attendance Tracking
If you have student workers, you can track their attendance through one of our readers. This same reader can be used to track different activities, like attendance for different groups, workers in a lab, equipment being checked out and/or the people coming to use the equipment.

Demographic Info
If you would like to know the demographics of people using your services or facilities this can be easily tracked with our readers. This information can be used for many purposes; you can use the numbers to schedule the appropriate amount of staff or the demographic profiles to customize your services to your end-users.

The information that you receive from our readers can be put into easy to read reports. The reports can be created in different formats to suit your purposes (Excel, Word, Crystal, Acrobat, and Text) as well as they can be presentation quality reports with graphs or just summaries. Reports will be customized to fit your needs.

Custom Cards
Badges
TitanCard offers custom cards for special events, departmental name/photo badges and guest or visitor meal plans. Prices are contingent on design and color. Please contact TitanCard for additional information and a price quote.

Copy Cards
We can provide departmental copy cards. These can be used by your staff and faculty members for their copying needs outside of the department for example at the library and various campus labs, as well as for purchases from Reprographics. Monthly reports can be provided for your tracking purposes.

Meal Programs
We offer cards for rent. If you are having a special event on campus, you can rent cards for use at our food locations. You can control how much you want on each card and if your program is for more than one day we can load funds daily. You will be charged only for what is used.

Gift Cards
The TitanCard Office is now offering Gift Cards for purchase. It is a great way to give a thank-you gift to a colleague or a birthday gift for a classmate.

The TitanCard Gift Card can be used anywhere TitanTender is accepted. Come to the TitanCard Office to purchase your personalized card (up to 25 characters). You can purchase them for any amount starting at $10. It is quick and a great gift idea for any occasion. Card Technologies
Validation for Access
If you want to limit who can enter your lab, seminar, or event we can do that for you. The patron would just need to swipe their TitanCard and the reader will let you know if the patron is allowed in. We can also provide you with attendance reports for your event!

OCTA Bus Encoding
If eligible, your TitanCard can be used to ride the bus for free. Simply stop by the TitanCard office to get your TitanCard encoded for the U Pass. Then ride any OCTA bus at any time for free!

Home Use Services
Software for At Home Use
These software titles are available at the cost of media to full-time and part-time faculty and staff for home use only. These applications are available through the CSU Microsoft Campus Enterprise Agreement and licensing with SPSS. Click here to see the available titles.

To obtain a copy of any of these software packages, please complete the online form. When the software is ready, you will receive an email confirmation asking that you bring your CSUF identification card with you to the Titan Card counter in PLS-140 for your software pick up.

There is no charge for the first copy of at-home-use software. There is a $10 fee for an additional copy of any title within a period of one year.

Titan Internet Access
Faculty and staff have access to free dial-up internet service. Stop by the TitanCard office to sign up. You will need to fill out a user agreement and an email will be sent to you once the set up is complete, usually within 24 hours.
