Chemistry Placement Exam (CPE)
Students who plan to enroll in CHEM 120A (General Chemistry I) must meet one of the three following criteria: (i) must have earned a passing score on the Chemistry Placement Exam (CPE); (ii) must have earned a passing grade in an appropriate Preparatory Chemistry course (a College-level course equivalent to CHEM 115 at CSUF); (iii) or must have earned a score of 3 on the Chemistry AP exam.
