Advising

Advising is an integral part of your undergraduate education. The college strives to provide guidance and help you achieve your academic goals. You will have multiple advisors that will assist you along the way.

We are here to help students understand the steps to take to earn their degrees. The requirements may seem daunting at first, but with guidance and advisement students can meet graduation requirements.

  • Meet with your NSM Student Success Team for any General Education advising questions or graduation plans and registration support.
  • Seek out other offices and programs on campus that provide specific advising or information that will enhance your Titan Experience.   Health Professions AdvisingOpens in new window   Office offers specialized support and workshops; while the NSM Student Success Team can tap advising and resources that help manage a rigorous schedule and academic performance and provides workshops throughout the semester.

Major Advising

Once admitted, see your MAJOR advisor every semester before you register — PLAN, STRATEGIZE, SUCCEED!

Most NSM Majors will have mandatory major advising every semester connected to a registration hold placed on your account that will prevent you from registering for the following semester (fall and spring).
