CSUF affords students the opportunity to study abroad on any accredited program outside of Cal State Fullerton as long as you can receive
an official transcript from the institution.
The Study Abroad Office provides the following services for students on Non-CSUF Programs:
- Advising on how to select and apply for a non-CSUF program
- Registration to maintain student status while abroad (if you study abroad on a non-CSUF program for more than
one semester you must complete a leave of absence form with the Admission & Records Office)
- Access to study abroad scholarships at the Study Abroad Office
- Facilitation of transfer credit (you can only receive transfer credit)
There may be some disadvantages to choosing studying abroad on an outside program. Read through the
Disadvantages of Non-CSUF Programs to verify that you are okay with the process.
