Who Benefits
A quality public school system is always of interest to all
members of a given community. As a leader in teacher education,
Cal State Fullerton has been involved in a number of research
projects designed to improve the quality of K-12 education.
One example is the School Site Operations project, spearheaded
by Dr. Louise Adler, professor and chair of educational leadership,
and Pat Puleo, director of University Extended Education and
a former K-12 principal. This innovative pilot project, funded
by "Ventures in Leadership," a special fund of the
the DeWitt Wallace-Reader's Digest Fund allows K-12 school
principals to focus on the academic needs of their schools
instead of administrative tasks.

managers who oversee schools’ non-educational operations.
This innovative program reflects Cal State Fullerton’s
leadership in the field of K-12 management. |
