CSUF's Priorities
Steven G. Mihaylo College of Business and Economics
Located in one of the most vibrant business communities in the United States, the Steven G. Mihaylo College of Business and Economics is the largest business school in the State of California and the fifth largest in the nation! A nationally accredited, comprehensive business school, it offers a full range of business disciplines supported by faculty who integrate classroom education with the best business practices, technology, award-winning research, functional applications, and real-world experience.
The Steven G. Mihaylo College of Business and Economics has the distinction of being among the less than 30 percent of business schools nationwide that have achieved dual accreditation by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). In addition, the College’s highly recognized Accounting Department is among only five universities in the State of California to hold a separate Accounting Accreditation (only 168 nationwide).
Bridging the gap between theory and practice, the College’s “Centers of Excellence” are designed to serve specific industries and business needs, such as insurance, entrepreneurship, family business, and corporate reporting. The Centers provide academic and practical learning environments for students, while offering an array of services to local businesses and government.
