General (Unrestricted) Gifts

President's ScholarsThe needs of Cal State Fullerton are incredibly diverse. Donors to Cal State Fullerton may, in fact, be overwhelmed by the many ways their gifts can be used – what is the best option? General gifts provide an excellent way to invest in Cal State Fullerton, while allowing the university to use their gifts as most needed.

One way to narrow the choices is to consider a general gift to the university (also known as an “unrestricted gift”). Such gifts allow Cal State Fullerton to respond to its most pressing needs.

General gifts to the unrestricted fund are dispersed annually all across the Cal State Fullerton campus. In addition to serving our student body, a gift may also support a special faculty research project, programs in one of our eight colleges, athletics, student affairs, scholarships, campus improvements or the library.
