Sharon Sekhon

think of a better way to honor her,” says Titan alumna
Sharon Sekhon '93, '95, of her recent gift to establish the
Margarete Liebe Sekhon Graduate Scholarship in American
Studies.
 Sharon’s
$20,000 endowment gift will fund an annual $1,000 scholarship,
to be awarded to a first-year student enrolled in the American
Studies graduate program. The scholarship will be awarded
based on academic achievement and financial need.
Margarete Liebe Sekhon was a long-time Fullerton resident
who earned her bachelor’s degree from the Art Center
College of Design in Pasadena and master’s degree from
Cal State Long Beach. Sharon Sekhon earned undergraduate and
graduate degrees from Cal State Fullerton in French and American
Studies, respectively.
