What Is Women & Philanthropy?

Women & Philanthropy promotes women's giving, volunteerism and leadership at Cal State Fullerton. This special group of donors is helping to shape the future of the university and our students by supporting a variety of areas within the campus community.

Why Should I Become a Part of Women & Philanthropy?

Women are leaders and influencers who can make a difference to the university and to the world. As a part of this program, you will learn ways to make an immeasurable impact on areas that matter most to you. You also are provided opportunities to meet other successful, dynamic women and to hear expert speakers on professional and social topics.

Making a Difference

Throughout history women have demonstrated their philanthropic spirit, changing the world through their donations of time and talent. Today women are attending college, assuming leadership roles in major corporations and starting up businesses in record numbers. As women assume these leadership roles and an increasing percentage of the wealth in America, it is critical that their talents and resources continue to be used to make their communities and the world a better place.

Cal State Fullerton's Women & Philanthropy network is an organization that brings together successful women leaders who value what Cal State Fullerton is doing to educate future leaders and shape our communities. The Women & Philanthropy network provides the opportunity for women to take on leadership roles at Cal State Fullerton and to help shape its future. In addition, our Women & Philanthropy members have the opportunity to hear speakers on professional and social topics like women's health issues, politics, financial and estate planning and more.
