"... Excellence can’t happen without you."
Titan Athletics Club - Give the Gift of "Titan Pride"
Fullerton Athletics is strong because alumni, parents and fans work together to keep our student-athletes competitive. And there is no better way to do that than through the Titan Athletics Club.
The Titan Athletics Club was founded to organize the Cal State Fullerton Athletic Department’s fundraising efforts, with the mission of providing financial support to enhance the experiences of our student-athletes.
The role of the Titan Athletics Club is now more critical than ever. A single scholarship comprised of tuition, room, board, books and fees can cost the Athletic Department more than $13,766 per year, pushing total scholarship expenses well over $1.78 million annually. That figure is nearly a 175 percent increase in the past 10 years. Scholarships alone make up more than 25 percent of the Athletic Department’s annual operating budget.
As a public institution, Fullerton Athletics receives less than 48 percent of its budget from the state. Student fees supply about 30 percent. The difference must be raised annually through fundraised dollars, sponsorship, ticket sales and facility rental.
Titan Pride experienced after earning a Cal State Fullerton diploma? PRICELESS
Alumni, parents and fans who contribute lead the way in Cal State Fullerton’s commitment to improving our facilities, attracting and retaining outstanding coaches, and providing an environment that will make Fullerton the first choice for premier student-athletes.
With every gift, no matter the size or designation, you help to build a lasting foundation for excellence in Cal State Fullerton Athletics.
The academic and athletic success Fullerton has enjoyed throughout the years has not been by mistake. It has taken a great deal of effort, commitment, and sacrifice to get where we are today. With your help, Titan Athletics will continue to achieve excellence, both in the classroom and on the field of play. Your participation can help make a student-athlete’s experience at Fullerton the best it can be.
Cash Gifts: Checks should be made payable to the Cal State Fullerton Philanthropic Foundation (CSFPF). Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are also accepted.
Matching Gifts: Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by current or retired employees. This is an easy way to double or even triple your gift. To find out if your or your spouse’s company has a matching gift policy and if it will match gifts to athletics, contact your personnel or human resources office, or click here to check www.matchinggifts.com/csuf/.
Capital: Our student-athletes need and deserve first-class facilities in which to compete, train, practice and study. We are continually upgrading and improving our athletics facilities, and contributions to capital projects are vital to these efforts. Click here for a list of athletics fundraising priorities.
Endowments are an excellent way to ensure the continued support of Titan Athletics. Each year earned interest is used while the principal is reinvested. An endowed scholarship or program fund can be in your name or the name of a loved one. You can also designate which specific program you want to support or contribute to existing endowments.
Gifts-In-Kind: We can accept certain gifts and services that would reduce expenses. These are subject to campus approval and IRS regulations.
Planned Gifts include stocks, bequests, trusts, life insurance, personal gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, real property, securities, and real estate. Cal State Fullerton welcomes the opportunity to work with donors and their advisors in designing a gift that meets the financial needs of the donor as well as Titan Athletics.
