CSUF Presents: Take A Child to Work Day!

Community Engagement at CSUFCal State Fullerton’s Take A Child to Work Day provides a unique opportunity for children to see what parents, relatives and/or friends do at Cal State Fullerton, tour the campus, participate in interactive activities, and learn more about the importance of going to college. Special hands-on activities designed specifically for 8 to 18-year-olds complement job shadowing and interaction with faculty/staff parents and sponsors.

Cal State Fullerton invites you to help show our future Titans the value of a college education and how California State University, Fullerton can help them achieve their dreams.  Campus tours and small group activities will highlight CSUF programs and showing students what we do on campus through job shadowing, and meeting faculty and staff helps reinforce why students should pursue a college education.

Cal State Fullerton’s Take A Child to Work Day is sponsored in conjunction with the national Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day Foundation. Recognized by Congress and Senate Resolutions, the 2012 theme for the 20th anniversary is: "Build Opportunity: 20 Years of Education, Empowerment, Experience". Cal State Fullerton is proud to promote this mission by inviting faculty and staff to bring daughters, sons, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and mentees to campus for an exciting day of activities.
