Program Services

To ensure that participants are successful and reach their full potential in high school and in college, Talent Search provides the following services and activities:

• Academic advising
• Tutoring
• College preparatory workshops
• Financial aid advising
• Financial aid application assistance
• Career advising and events
• Post secondary planning and selection
• Post secondary application assistance
• College entrance examination (SAT, ACT) information and preparation
• Campus tours and visits
• Cultural enrichment activities
• Summer Program for 9th and 10th grade participants
• Parent information sessions

The Talent Search Program at California State University, Fullerton is 100% federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

Eligibility

Students who are interested in applying for admission to CSU Fullerton's Talent Search Program must meet one of the following criteria:

• Meet federal income eligibility requirements
• Potential first generation college student (either parent did not complete a bachelors degree)

Additional Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen, permanent resident or provides evidence from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services of his or her intent to become a permanent resident.
• Be a current student in Anaheim, Katella, Magnolia or Savanna High School

Apply

1. Download and print the Talent Search application.
2. Completely fill out the application.
3. Submit a copy of your parent's/guardian's most recent income tax return.
4. Submit a copy of proof of residency verification (examples: social security card, birth certificate, green card, passport)
5. Submit your application with all required paperwork to your Academic Tutor at your school.
