Enrollment is limited to students who have failed the Examination Writing Proficiency (EWP) at least two times. Priority will be given to students who have attempted the EWP the greatest number of times.

Applications for Fall 2008 will be accepted until August 15, 2008. You may submit your application by fax to 714-278-4834 or in-person at the Testing Center, UH-229. All applications must be received by 5:00 PM on August 15, 2008.

The list of students who will be allowed to register for English 199 will be posted in the Testing Center, UH-229, on August 20, 2008. Registration information will be provided at that time.
