on your student record. This display will include the type
of hold and reason for the hold, the office responsible for
placing the hold and their phone number and the terms the
hold is effective and waived, if applicable. If there is no
term displayed, the hold is effective immediately.
TITAN degree audit - allows you to create a TITAN Degree
Audit (TDA) which is primarily an advising tool that helps
in keeping track of a student's academic progress toward completion
of a declared major program. From an analysis of coursework
completed at CSUF, transfer courses and courses in progress,
TITAN Degree Audits show what requirements a student has met,
what courses a student can take to fulfill requirements that
have not been met, and the remaining requirements a student

provide more help. You do not need to logon to TITAN Online to use

and Answers. The button labeled "ID/PIN Help" contains
information about the Student ID and PIN that is required to access
TITAN Online.

I contact someone who can help me?

Line at (714) 278-7601 during scheduled office hours. You can also
send email questions to: TITANonline@fullerton.edu.
7. What is my Student ID number?
Answer: Your Student ID number is generally your Social
Security Number. Some students (those who do not have a Social Security
Number) have been assigned a campus ID number that serves as their
Student ID number. For TITAN Online, enter your Student ID number
as 9 digits with no hyphens or imbedded spaces.
8. I forgot my PIN or I was never told my PIN. What do I do?
Answer: Questions about your PIN must be handled in-person
(to protect the security of your PIN) at the Admissions & Records
Service Center on the first floor of Langsdorf Hall and requires
you to present picture ID. You can also send an email with PIN questions
to TITANonline@fullerton.edu.
9. Can I change my PIN?

selecting the Change your PIN function under Personal
Data or may be done in person at the Admissions & Records

10. I logged on to TITAN Online but I can't see any menu items.
What's going on?
Answer: If you are using AOL to access TITAN Online, you either
need to use AOL version 7.0 or higher, or you need to open a separate
browser while logged on through AOL and access TITAN Online through
that browser rather than directly through AOL.
11. I tried logging on to TITAN Online and I was told the maximum
number of users were already signed on to TITAN Online. What's going
on?
Answer: In order to provide reasonable web response time
to TITAN Online users, we limit the number of simultaneous users.
If you get this message, just wait a few minutes and try logging
on again.
12. I got disconnected from TITAN Online before 3 minutes of
idle-time had elapsed? What's going on?
Answer: When TITAN Online is at maximum users, we only allow
2 minutes of idle time before automatically logging you off.
13. Can I combine using the telephone and TITAN Online to register?
Answer: Yes. Registration through the telephone and TITAN
Online use the same logic to ensure that both work exactly the same.
When it is your turn to register, you have your choice of to using
the telephone, TITAN Online or a combination. For instance, you
can register for a class using the telephone, use TITAN Online to
search for open sections, make registration changes and print a
copy of your study list.
14. Can I add and drop classes using TITAN Online?
Answer: Yes. See the Admissions & Records calendar
at http://www.fullerton.edu/admissions/CurrentStudent/Registration.asp
for more information on registration dates.
15. What other registration functions can I do using TITAN Online?
Answer: Within the specified deadlines, you may change
grade options for a class (between graded and credit/no credit)
and do conditional drop/adds. A conditional drop/add allows students
to only drop a class if they can successfully add a different class.
This is useful when you want to make a registration change but you
don't want to give up the class you already have unless you are
sure you can get into the other class.
16. How do I verify that my registration changes worked?
Answer: At any point, you can select "View My Study
List" to look at your class schedule.
17. How can I find out if a class is open?
Answer: Use the TITAN Online registration feature "View
Open Sections" to search for classes. This feature is always
available when TITAN Online is up, even when it's not your turn
to register.
18. How do I print a copy of my study list?
Answer: Use the TITAN Online registration feature "View
My Study List." Then use the print feature of your web browser
to print the web page.
19. How do I find out what textbooks my classes require?
Answer: Select the registration function "My textbooks".
If textbooks are available for sale at that time for that term,
a new browser window will open displaying the textbooks you need
for your classes with an option to buy your textbooks on the web.
If textbooks are not yet available for sale for that term, you will
be informed the dates that textbooks will be available for sale
for that term. If textbooks are no longer available for sale for
that term, you will be informed of that.
20. I used the "Make a Payment" feature of TITAN Online
to pay my registration fees or make a prepayment, but I don't see
the results of that payment in my Financial Statement. What's going
on?
Answer: Payments are posted to TITAN Online once they
have been electronically processed. While this can occur within
minutes after making your payment, this process can take somewhat
longer when the volume of payment activity increases. Keep checking
your Financial Statement in TITAN Online to determine whether the
payment has been posted.
21. I needed to prepay before I could register. I just made
a prepayment but my registration is still being rejected saying
I need to prepay. What's going on?
Answer: Same answer as the answer to question 20 above.
It is recommended that you make prepayments 24 hours before you
try to register just to be sure your payment has been posted.
22. What can I do to keep my student record information more
secure?
Answer: Although TITAN Online will automatically disconnect
your session after 3 minutes of idle-time; you should always logoff
TITAN Online using the "Logoff" button in the menu bar.
Then be sure to close your browser.
23. Is TITAN Online secure?
Answer: Yes. TITAN Online utilizes secure sockets technology.
