ID/PIN Help
Student ID
Each student is identified in the university’s student records system by a Student ID. In December 2003, all students were issued a new campus-assigned ID number. Prior to that date, the Student Identification number was usually your Social Security Number. Students without Social Security Numbers (e.g. international students) or those students who have elected not to use their Social Security Numbers were assigned a Student Identification number by the university.
During this transition period, you may use either your new campus-assigned ID number or your former Student Identification number as your Student ID to access TITAN Online. In the future, your campus assigned ID number will be your unique identification number for all CSUF records.
When entering your Student ID to access information through TITAN Online, the digits should be entered without hyphens or any other punctuation. Be careful to enter your number accurately and in the correct sequence.
If you do not know or cannot remember your campus-assigned ID number, you may access that information at https://campusapps.fullerton.edu/CWID/index.aspx if you supply your Social Security Number and name. If your former Student Identification number was not your Social Security number and you have forgotten it, you will need to present photo identification to the Admissions and Records Service Center in Langsdorf Hall room 114 to confirm your identification number.
Personal Identification Number (PIN)
Each student at the university is assigned a Personal Identification Number
(PIN) which must be entered in combination with the Student Identification
Number in order for a student to access his or her record. When entering
your PIN to access registration or records information through TITAN,
the digits should be entered without hyphens or any other punctuation.
Be sure to enter your number accurately
and in the correct sequence.
The PIN is a randomly-selected number that is assigned to you for the
protection of your records. As with a PIN for your ATM/bank account, this
number should be carefully protected and not shared with anyone else or
written on paper that may get into the wrong hands. If you do not know
or cannot remember your university-assigned PIN, take some form of photo
identification to the Admissions and Records Service Center in Langsdorf
Hall room 114 to confirm your number. You may also change your PIN at
the same location, but the number should not be an easily identifiable
number such as your date of birth. For your protection, the university
may occasionally change Personal Identification Numbers for all students.
In those cases, you will be notified by mail of your new PIN.
