What to Expect
New Parent and Family Orientation is a full day program (8:00 am – 5:00pm) that will help family members understand academic expectations, student life opportunities, and campus resources.
Please note that the great majority of the New Parent and Family Orientation program is run separately from the student orientation program. New Parent and Family Orientation includes information and resources on:
o Transitioning from high school to college
o Title IV/Campus Safety
o Health and Counseling
o Succeeding in the Classroom
o Financial Aid/Student Financial Services
o Living on Campus
o Commuter Experience
o Titan Technology/Titan Shops
o Career Center
During New Parent and Family Orientation, family members will have an opportunity to meet campus administrators and hear about the student experience from current Titans. This is a great opportunity to connect with other Titan Parents, while discussing the transition you and your family may face as your student enters college.
