Titan Parent and Family Scholarships

Established by: This program was established by the Cal State Fullerton Titan Parent and Family Association. Scholarship funds are raised through the generous support of CSUF parents/guardians, family members and supporters. Fundraising efforts occur throughout the year through outreach campaigns, parent and family programs, and events. Funds must be used for the upcoming academic year and may not be transferred to another school or program. A minimum of two scholarships are awarded each August.

Amount: $1,000 each (multiple available)

Open to: This award is open to all CSUF undergraduate students. Priority will be given to students with family members in the Titan Parent and Family Association.

Criteria: Minimum 2.0 GPA | Enrolled in a minimum of 12 units per semester | Community Service

Scholarship recipients will be expected to provide a photo of themselves, sign a photo release and write a note of thanks to scholarship donors. 

Application Procedure:

  1. Complete the Titan Parent and Family Scholarship Application. 2024 Titan Parent and Family Scholarship Application
  2. Type one-page, double-spaced responses to each of the three essay questions (Below)
  3. Submit completed application form and essay responses by the stated deadline to: titanparents@fullerton.edu
    (Please include your full name, CWID, and graduation year in the email)

Essay Questions:

  1. Being a CSUF Titan is a special honor. How has being a part of the CSUF community impacted your life? 
  2. How have you recently served your community? How has this involvement impacted you?
  3. If awarded, how will this scholarship support your educational aspirations as it relates to your career goals?
