Cameron Cook
Director
Department Role: Provides overall guidance in the development, planning, and implementation of comprehensive services and programs to support the success of the military-connected campus community.
Education: Pursing a Doctorate in Eduation. M.A. in Creative Writing, University of Denver. B.A. in Public Administration/Political Science, Metropolitan State University Denver.
Fun Fact: Cameron loves to spend time with his wife and three children, including trips to the beach, mountains, and Disneyland.
ALEX ORTEGA
Access and Engagement Coordinator
Department Role: Outreach to community colleges and military installations. Provide assistance for prospective freshman, transfer, and graduate students. Guides students throughout the application process and transition into the university.
Education: B.S. in Human Services, CSUF.

Department Role:
Processes and certifies military connected student benefits.
Assists students with their academic needs and questions; though advising sessions and resource linkage.

Academic Support Coordinator
Department Role: Supports the certifiying official with the certification of military benefits for students . Assists with overseeing front desk operations of the Veterans Resource Center.
Education: B.S. in Human Services, CSUF. Masters in Higher Education, CSUF.
Rosalina camacho
Women and Family Coordinator
Department Role: Strong advocate for the needs of the military connected population and women. Supports students through dynamic and diverse programming and community building.
Education: B.S. in Socioecology, UCI. Pursuing a Masters in Human Communication Studies.
giovanni berdejo
Program Coordinator, Professional Development and Training
Department Role: Facilitates the professional development and training for student veterans. Leads the VetForward cohort through workshops that prepare them to transition out of higher education.
Education: B.S. in Business Administration, CSUF. Pursuing a Masters in Public Administration.
Sabrina Estrada
Administrative Support Coordinator
Department Role: Oversees staff administrative tasks and logistics. Manages pay, scheduling, supply orders, travel, and directive 11s. Monitors front desk operations and supports all coordinators.
Education: B.S. in Sociology, UCI. Pursuing a Masters in Sociology.
