Does Cal State Fullerton accept military transcripts?
CSUF does accept most military transcripts as recommended by ACE (American
Council on Education). During the admission process an evaluator will evaluate
your transcripts and award you units towards general education electives. For

I am a student at Cal State Fullerton and want to take additional classes at a
different school, how can I have those classes certified?
If CSUF if your primary institution, we can provide a Parent School Letter to
the other school you are concurrently enrolled with. The class(es) taken at the
other institution must be degree applicable and transferable to our
institution. Once you enroll at the other campus, bring a copy of: your fee
statement - showing that you have cleared your fees, a class list, and a course
description for each class. Once these forms are submitted, it will take about
5-7 working days for us to provide a Parent School Letter to the other campus
so that they can certify your classes there.
How can I find out more information on tuition assistance?
Contact your education representative who is part of your reserve unit. Once
you have completed the proper paperwork with your reserve unit, you will want
to visit the Student Financial Services Office at UH 180 at least 3 days prior
to your registration to process any additional university required paperwork.

How do I apply for the Cal Vet Fee Waiver program?
To apply for the Cal Vet Fee Waiver you will need to contact your local County
Veterans Service Office. Their contact information can be found in the
"government Listings" section of your telephone book under "County Government
Offices" or at their website: www.cacvso.org
Does Cal State Fullerton offer VA Work Study?
CSUF does offer VA Work Study on occasion, depending on staffing needs and
availability. Please contact the Veterans Certification Office for more information
at (714) 278-2373.
I've changed my major, who do I need to let know?
You must let the Veterans Certification Office know and there is an additional form
required by the VA. Please take the time to stop by and fill out the form as
soon as you make the change. If you do not complete the proper form, your
certification of classes for future terms can be delayed.
I've changed my address, how do I notify the VA?
Changing your address with the University will not change your address with the
VA. Please contact them online through the GI Bill website, through WAVE, or by
phone at (888) 442-4551.
How long is the Cal Vet Fee Waiver letter good for? Do I need to reapply?
Your Cal Vet Fee Waiver award letter is good for the academic year indicated on
it. This always starts with a Summer, Fall, and then Spring. You will need to
provide a new letter before the start of each Summer to be covered for the
upcoming year.
I wasn't paid the right amount, how can it be fixed?
You can contact the Veterans Certification Office to make sure we have transmitted
the correct information to the VA, however if we have and your payment is still
wrong, then you will need to contact the VA directly. You can contact them by
phone at (888) 442-4551 or by email through the GI Bill website at
www.gibill.va.gov/ and click on "questions and answers" to submit an inquiry.
My information on the WAVE system in not correct, what do I do?
You can contact the Veterans Certification Office to make sure we have transmitted
the correct information to the VA. If we have done everything correct on our
side, then you will then have to contact the VA at (888) 442-4551 or by email
through the GI Bill website at www.gibill.va.gov/ and click on "questions and
answers" to submit an inquiry.
How long does it take for my information to process?
For first time applicants it can take up to 90 days and for students who are
transferring benefits here from another institution it can take up to 30 days.
