Military Family Community at CSUF
From creating opportunities for our military-connected student community to engaging and developing lasting bonds, the VRC is proud to celebrate and honor our military families.
Family Fun Day
Every semester, we host a family event for our Titan Family for a fun day of food, games and good company with good people. Students bring their family and/or friends at this great event. Everyone is considered family within our military-community!
Family Welcome Dinner
The Family Welcome Dinner is held to welcome family members of our military community to CSUF. The event is a great opportunity for new and current military-connected students to learn about the programs and services offered at the VRC.
Maribel Ramos Memorial Scholarship for Family Members of Veterans
Two (2) students are awarded $500 each. Maribel was a CSUF student veteran and an active Student Veterans Association member who received her degree in Criminal Justice posthumously. In her memory, this scholarship was established in support of family members. Maribel was committed to her education and stressed the importance and value of education in her family. It is a great honor to remember her with this scholarship as we continue to expand our services that support family members of veterans.
Vet Talks Family Group
Through the Vet Talks Family Group, family members of veterans, service members, and reservists are given the opportunity to connect with other family members on campus. The group meets at least once a month, depending on student interest.
