Women's Programs
Women Veterans in Higher Education Conference
Every year, the VRC holds a community conference for women veterans who are looking to attend college, who are current college students, or who would like to connect to women veterans as peers, mentors or service providers. It is an opportunity for women veterans to gather, meet, and share their stories in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Weekly Discussion Groups
Every week during the academic semester, women from the military connected community meet up. Currently the meetings are being held every Wednesday from 11am to 12pm via Zoom.
Monthly Brunches
Each month, women veterans get together on a Saturday or Sunday and participate in a community service event and/or social outing to give back to the community, meet new friends, and build lasting relationships.
Women in the Military History Week
During the third week of March, the VRC observes Women in the Military History Week by holding our annual Women Veterans in Higher Education Conference, a campus-wide ribbon campaign, and providing a special lunch on-campus for women veterans.
