Marvel Brock Scholarship

Marvel Brock was born in 1929 and grew up in Riverside County, CA. After high school, she enrolled in Fullerton College and developed a lifelong love for the community. She raised three children who attended Fullerton Public Schools, and volunteered for a variety of youth-serving and educational programs, including teaching first graders how to read and supporting efforts by the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) to raise scholarship money for women to attend college.  Marvel had a particular concern for parents of young children who were working to complete college degrees. The Marvel Brock Scholarship was established as a living memorial to her desire to help local area students achieve their educational goals and be a service to others.
