CSU Academic Senator

It has been an honor and a privilege to serve CSU Fullerton as one of the three members of the Academic Senate of the California State University (ASCSU).  I have had a nearly perfect attendance record at Senate meetings and I believe I have been an effective member of this body.  I was elected to Chair the ASCSU in academic year 2007-08 and have served as a representative of the ASCSU on numerous boards, committees, and task forces.  Currently, I serve on the CSU Commission on the Extended University, the CSU Admissions Advisory Council, the C-ID Advisory Committee, the Academic Affairs Committee of the ASCSU, and the CSU Online Working Group Steering Committee.  I also serve on a number of campus committees, including the Academic Senate Executive Committee, the Auxiliary Services Executive Committee and Board, the Extended Education Committee, and the Ad hoc Committee to Review UPS 411.104.

I am a strong believer in collegial governance and I believe I have the distinction of being the longest continuing serving member of the campus Academic Senate.  In total, I have served on over 70 committees representing faculty interests and served as campus CFA President for five years.  I would greatly appreciate your vote for my continuing to serve on the ASCSU.
