Systemwide Title IX/DHR Assessment Campus Visit

CSUF will participate in the CSU’s systemwide assessment of our Title IX and Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation (DHR) programs in spring 2023. The Chancellor’s Office, at the direction of Chancellor Jolene Koesler, has engaged Cozen O’Connor’s Institutional Response Group for this work. Cozen O’Connor is visiting the CSU’s 23 campuses and evaluating opportunities for systemwide collaboration. The goal is to strengthen the CSU’s culture by assessing current practices and providing recommendations to advance our Title IX and civil rights training, awareness, prevention, intervention, compliance and support systems.
In January, the Institutional Response Group will be on campus to meet with stakeholders and implementers whose work intersects with Title IX and Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation efforts.
Information shared in individual meetings with campus stakeholders and constituents will be kept private by Cozen O’Connor and will not be shared with CSUF or CSU leadership with personal attribution. Cozen O’Connor will identify aggregate themes about our strengths and challenges to prevent and respond to allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
In spring, campus members will have an opportunity to complete a survey to share information anonymously or request to speak directly with the Cozen O’Connor team. Cozen O’Connor can be reached directly at CalStateReview@cozen.com.
The Cozen O’Connor team will seek feedback from members of the campus community through group interviews, individual interviews, listening sessions, via email to CalStateReview@cozen.com and through a survey which will be shared with students, faculty and staff in spring 2023. The Cozen O’Connor team typically conducts additional meetings with groups or individuals virtually or in person after the campus visit.
