Dr. Maqsood Chaudhry

Professor of Electrical Engineering

Teaching

In addition to teaching in his primary areas of interest; microelectronics, VLSI circuit design and electromagnetics field theory, Dr. Chaudhry has taught a wide variety of courses in the departments of mechanical engineering, computer science and mathematics. Moreover, he has held adjunct faculty positions in the University of California Irvine and Mount San Antonio College, Pomona.

Numerous teaching awards and recognitions from within the university as well as from professional organizations are a testament to Dr. Chaudhry’s dedication as a teacher. In 2004, he was honored with the prestigious award of the   Distinguished Engineering Educator of Orange County   by the Orange County Engineering Council. For his work as a student advisor and mentor, he was honored with Mentor of the Year award by the university.

Dr. Chaudhry is member of honor societies of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi and recipient of Boeing A. D. Welliver Fellowship.

Dr. Chaudhry is currently involved in research related to low voltage, low power and, sub-threshold analog integrated circuits for biomedical and other applications. He received several external as well as internal research grants for his research and has numerous publications to his credit. Student participation and learning is a key goal of his research.
