Internships and Job Placement Information for Students

In the Entertainment and Tourism industries, a college degree is not enough, work and internship experience is critical.

Communications students must do an internship (COMM 495) before they graduate, but all students can also do an internship for credit through the Center for Internships and Cooperative Education. Furthermore, you can also do internships on your own. While some companies and organizations require students to be enrolled for credit if they are doing an internship, many do not.
