Tracking
Through full and partial tracking practices, CSUF is able to collect the experiences of our students that participate in High Impact Practices. In each class/program student participation, student learning, and HIP characteristics are tracked for each participant.
Faculty/Staff Perspective
Faculty & Staff can propose courses and programs that they consider High Impact Practices for HIPs Tracking review. Through filling out a matrix they will show the involvements students can expect in their class/program, as well as determine the layout for all their electronic tracking.
University Perspective
The University is able to review the tracking data from these different programs to determine whether they should recieve a High Impact Practices designation. This is a 3 year designation that will be renewed upon yearly data collection.
