Cybersecurity Awareness Month – observed every October – to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and ensure that all individuals and organizations have the information and tools they need to be safer and more secure online.
Keeping information systems safe and secure is vitally important for our institution. Our Cybersecurity Awareness Month event is intended to inform the campus community on emerging Cybersecurity trends and attacks. The university continues to implement technology solutions that will help to protect systems and data. However, hackers continue to look for creative entryways into organizations' internal networks by compromising user credentials. Our community members need to be vigilant at all times and protect personal and institutional data. We invite you to join the Cybersecurity Awareness Month virtual sessions below on October 8, 2021. We'll explore the world of cybersecurity, including emerging threats and attacks, and careers in cybersecurity.
