NSM Academic Probation Support
In compliance with University Policy 300.002, a Registration Hold will be placed on all Cal State Fullerton students on academic probation and you are required to complete the following steps to have the hold removed. Not completing the following steps can cause a delay in your registration for the following semester.
What can I do to have my hold removed?
The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Student Success Team is here to support your educational journey.
Step 1) Complete the Academic Probation Tutorial
This tutorial will address policies related to Academic Probation and provide actions you can take now to regain Good Academic standing.
Step 2) Check your CSUF email.
- If your first semester was in fall as a first-time freshman, you will be invited to be part of the Academic Success Institute by the NSM Retention Specialist.
- For non-first-time freshman (sophomore, junior, senior standing students): You will receive a TitanLink Campaign invitation for a one-on-one advising session with the NSM Student Success Team. This message will include a specific link to make an appointment with a NSM Student Success Team member. If this link is not working, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name and CWID indicating you would like to make an appointment for probation advising. You can also create an appointment with through TitanNet.
Step 3) Attend your meeting with the NSM Student Success Team. It’s important that you meet with a Specialist before registering so that they can help you strategize to bring you back to good academic standing or a CSUF GPA of a 2.0 or higher.
Step 4) Your hold will be removed before the next registration cycle, if all steps have been met. Please email email@example.com if you have any questions.
