Principal Function: The principal function of each standing committee is to investigate problems within its area of concern and to propose to the Academic Senate any policy recommendations that result from such study.
Board Functions:
- Act as an advisory body to the Division of University Advancement;
- Receive and review reports on fundraising and other areas of University Advancement. This shall include, but is not limited to, an annual report from the CSUF Philanthropic Foundation and an annual report on UA activities and accomplishments (e.g., philanthropic productivity, goal setting, external outreach, alumni programming, and strategic communications);
- Review and revise University Policy Statements (UPS) relevant to university advancement;
- Report activities of the Board to the Academic Senate annually and at other times as needed.
