MARC R. DICKEY, Associate Professor of Music, Department Chair

Marc R. Dickey is chair of the Music Department and conductor of the Cal State Fullerton Symphonic Winds. His academic specialty is in music education, specifically instrumental music teacher training. He holds a Ph.D. and B.M. in music education from The University of Michigan and a M.M. in wind conducting from Northwestern University. He has been awarded the National Band Association's Citation of Excellence. His research has been published in the Journal of Research in Music Education and the Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education as well as professional journals and web sites.
