Top 5 questions of the week 

I currently have a Pell Grant Hold preventing my Pell Grant from disbursing.  When will the Pell Grant Hold on my account be removed?

  • The hold needs to be reviewed by our Pell Grant team to confirm your eligibility.  Please allow until mid November to see updates on your account. 

I am currently waiting for my Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) to be issued to me.  When can I expect it?

  • If you have the MCS on your CSUF financial aid account, financial aid staff has to go through a few additional updates to release the award, please allow a few more weeks. 
  • If you do not see MCS awarded yet, check WebGrants 4 Students to confirm your eligibility. If eligible, we will have all MCS awarded by mid November.

I was admitted to CSUF for Spring 2026.  When will I be able to see my financial aid offer?

  • Financial aid offers for Spring 2026 transfer students will be available in the last week of October, prior to the November 1st intent to enroll deadline.  Please check your email for updates.
    • NOTE: Financial aid offers will not be available if you have outstanding tasks.

How do I know if I should be receiving a Cal Grant Award?

  • Please check your eligibility by logging into to WebGrants 4 Students. Confirm you have updated your school to CSUF. 

What happens if I drop all of my classes right now?

  • If you are a financial aid recipient, your file be reviewed to determine how much of that financial aid was earned in the Return of Title IV process. You will be notified within 30 days if you need to return some of your financial aid.

Current students and recent graduates must sign-in with their CSUF DUO authentification factor account to complete their request. You may check the status of your ticket at anytime by opening up your ticket submission confirmation email and selecting "View My Ticket Request."

Prospective Students/Parents

Prospective Students/Parents will receive an automated email with your responses.
