Password: Computer & Email

Note:  At CSUF, the email password IS the same one that is used to log in to a computer on-campus. They are not separate. If you change your email password, you will then have to use the same password to log in to the on-campus computer.

Campus Password Security

Because of heightened security and portal technology, the campus requires passwords to be strong. Your password will be used as your key to many resources on the campus including personalized web, email, database access (faculty/staff only), and electronic signature passwords (faculty/staff only).

Your password MUST be between 8 and 14 characters in length and contain at least 3 of 4 character types (lower case letter, upper case letter, special character, and numbers). In additon, the last 24 passwords cannot be used.
