How Do MAMM Alliance Funds
Benefit Performing Arts Students?
MAMM Alliance’s fundraising efforts directly or indirectly benefit students in the Department of Theatre & Dance and the School of Music: 25% of funds raised are reinvested in the MAMM Foundation Endowment; net proceeds of funds raised, along with interest from the endowment, underwrites visiting artists, special performances and other unique programming.
These opportunities provide continuing education, inspiration and encouragement to Cal State Fullerton’s performing arts students.
Projects underwritten by the MAMM Alliance include public performances by Carol Channing, Amanda McBroom, the Talich String Quartet, eighth blackbird, the Dale Warland residency, choral ensemble Cantus and a performance of Peter Boyer’s Ellis Island.
In addition, MAMM has provided support for numerous guest artists who have worked directly with our students to provide invaluable master classes and educational workshops.
What are the advantages of
MAMM Alliance Membership?
MAMM Alliance membership funds directly support the Department of Theatre & Dance and the School of Music at Cal State Fullerton, an award winning, nationally ranked, performing arts higher education institution. Members are able to enjoy shared experiences with like-minded supporters of the College of the Arts.
Members enjoy many unique opportunities to attend a variety of exclusive special events throughout the season, including spectacular fundraising galas, private receptions, director’s talks given by faculty and students prior to performances and other behind-the-scenes events not available to the general public. A recent addition to the calendar of events includes a one-of-a-kind trip for MAMM Alliance members to attend the New York Showcase, where members are able to experience student auditions for agents and directors.
