One of the world’s most celebrated lutenists, Paul O’Dette (a “genius ever to touch his instrument” – Toronto Globe) performs music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras. The Lute was the most popular instrument throughout the 16th century and a lot of the 17th century, and the surviving repertoire is extraordinarily high.
