The Christmas Truce of 1914”

Out of the violence of World War I, one amazing Christmas Eve during an unexpected lull in the fighting on the Western Front, a single German soldier singing “Silent Night” broke the freezing silence. What spontaneously ensued — a night of peace, camaraderie and song joining the spirits of Allied and German soldiers in “no man’s land” — is recreated in a new theatrical concert by one of America’s finest male singing ensembles plus three actors. Enjoy this portrayal of one of history’s most remarkable moments replete with European carols and war-songs.
